KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Covenant men's basketball junior forward Will Crumly has been named to the 2020 Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List, announced the Small College Basketball and National Awards Committee on Wednesday.

Crumly joins a list of 100 men's basketball players from across the small college basketball landscape that includes NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA Division I, NAIA Division II, USCAA and NCCAA.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within small college basketball. The prestigious award, in its fifth year, is given to one player within small college basketball per season.

Crumly, a junior from Marietta, Ga., was a D3hoops.com Preseason All-American this year after earning USA South Player of the Year and NABC All-America third team as a sophomore in 2018-19. Crumly's play has helped the Scots to a 9-4 overall record and a perfect 6-0 in the USA South. Covenant leads the USA South West Division and is the only undefeated team left in league play.

Earlier this year, Crumly joined Covenant's 1,000-career point club. Crumly became the quickest player in the program's NCAA era to achieve the feat needing only 63 career games to reach the milestone. Crumly currently ranks 26th on Covenant's all-time scoring list with 1,063 points.
