MBB: Brooklyn Knockouts Baruch in OT (65-60)

The Baruch College Bearcats suffered a 65-60 CUNYAC overtime defeat at Brooklyn College on Thursday night.

Brooklyn sent the game into overtime on a Jordan Wright fall away jumper in the final seconds to tie it at 60.

The visiting Bearcats started strong and led 58-54 on a jumper by William Sixsmith with 2:23 remaining in the overtime, but the hosts scored 11 of the final 13 points to hand the Bearcats the tough defeat.  

Both teams struggled from three and were close in rebounding.

The Bearcats led at one point by 15 in the first half but the Bulldogs crept back in the second half.

Andre Harris was pivotal again for the Bearcats with a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. Bryler Paige had 10 points and five assists.

Jordan wright finished with 17 points for the tied for third place Bulldogs.
