Baruch Runs Past Regis, Play NYU in Sunday's Tip-Off Championship

The Baruch College Bearcats jumped out to a 21-2 advantage and never looked back en route to a 71-52 victory over the Pride of Regis College in a matchup of the NYU Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday night.   

Bryler Paige scored 13 points and Allen Villar had 11 with seven rebounds in a game where everybody on the roster saw playing time.

The Bearcats connected on six treys and notched 11 steals in the first half for the win.  

The Bearcats advance on Sunday to the NYU Tip Off Championship to take on the host Violets of NYU, who defeated Sarah Lawrence, 82-66.

The NYU Tip-Off Tournament is taking place this weekend at the Hunter College Sportsplex in uptown New York City.
