How It Happened
Lebanon Valley used a balanced attack to erase a halftime deficit in earning a tough 92-83 road victory at Hood on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 27.

Five LVC players reached the double-digit scoring mark, with Sam Lightpouring in a game-high 27 points and Andy Orr netting 25 tallies and grabbing seven rebounds. Chris Anderson was strong in recording a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists. Will Boccanfuso added 12 points and a game-high nine boards, while Zach Tucker chipped in with 10 tallies.

After trailing for much of the first half and all of the second to that point, Light's 3-pointer off an Anderson assist put the Flying Dutchmen (14-6, 8-3 MAC Commonwealth) back out in front at 54-53 with 14:39 left to play.

From there, the Blazers (7-13, 3-8 MAC Commonwealth) scored the game's next six points to go ahead by five at the 13:06 mark but LVC answered right back with a decisive 9-0 run that was capped by another Light triple off another Anderson find, swinging the momentum back in the favor of the visitors.

A Tucker jumper from beyond the arc put LVC back in front by five at 73-68 before Luke Casey converted an old-fashioned 3-point play to draw Hood to within one possession with 5:15 remaining.

On LVC's ensuing possession, however, Orr responded with an and-one of his own before Caleb Barwin buried a pair of treys to expand the lead to a game-high 12 with less than two minutes left to play. The Blazers were forced to foul in the final minute and despite converting a couple of attempts from distance, they were unable to close the gap.
