LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's basketball team remained the only unbeaten in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference by shooting past visiting Dominican University on Saturday afternoon.

• Benedictine never trailed in the game
• Kejuan Glosson opened the game by hitting a three-pointer to put Benedictine in front
• The lead quickly reached double figures at 16-6 on a transition layup from Eric Grygo at the 14:05 mark
• Glosson stretched the lead to 18 points at 29-11 with 8:07 remaining in the opening half
• Dominican scrapped to within 13 points, but two free throws from Jens Soderholm just before the half made the score 44-25
• Benedictine scored the first six points of the second half to open a 50-25 lead on a layup from Zach Gorney
• A basket from Soderholm pushed the lead to 58-28, largest of the day, with 17:12 to play
• Dominican did not go away, battling to within 13 points late, but Benedictine was able to finish the win
• Benedictine shot 57.1 percent in the first half and finished the game at 50.8 percent
• Benedictine also held a commanding 49-28 edge on the glass and scored 36 points in the paint with 18 on second chances
• Benedictine blocked 10 shots with four each coming from Kenny Bogus and Soderholm
• Brayden Olson, the NACC Player of the Week, scored 23 points and added seven rebounds and six assists
• Soderholm posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards
• Grygo tallied 12 with Glosson contributing 11
Benedictine (7-4, 6-0 NACC) travels to Lakeland on Wednesday night.
