OSWEGO, N.Y.—Four Bears reached double digits for the SUNY Potsdam men's basketball team (2-18, 1-12 SUNYAC), but Oswego State (16-4, 12-1) captured a 93-60 win on Friday night. Freshman guard Danny Delsol-Lowry (Queens, N.Y./Queens High School of Teaching) led Potsdam with 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Sophomore guard Nosa Onabor (Brooklyn, N.Y./Northside Charter) scored 12 points and grabbed six boards, while sophomore forwards Dante Langley (Schuylerville, N.Y./Schuylerville) and Serigne Kane (Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooklyn Prep) each finished with 10.

A Langley 3-pointer and a layup from Delsol-Lowry gave the Bears an early 5-2 lead. Junior captain Kevin Baksh (Queens, N.Y./Richmond Hill) put Potsdam back up 8-5 at the 16:12 mark. The Lakers then pulled away with a 28-10 run over the next 12 minutes to take a 33-18 lead. The score was 41-28 at the half. Delsol-Lowry and Langley had eight and six points, respectively in the opening 20 minutes.

The Bears opened the second half on a 7-2 run to close the gap to 43-31, but Oswego seized control with a 12-2 run to take a commanding 53-33 advantage at 14:28. Kane scored nine of his points in the second half along with eight each from Delsol-Lowry and Onabor, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Lakers.

Jamir Ferebee posted a game-high 21 points for Oswego and Brian Sortino chipped in 16 points and five assists.

Potsdam heads to SUNY Cortland tomorrow afternoon for a 2 p.m. contest.
