(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - Thomas More College defeated Thiel College by a final score of 65-47 tonight in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest.

The Saints had eight players reach the scoring column tonight and were led by sophomore guard Damion King (Winchester, Ky./George Rodger Clark), who finished the game with 17 points, five assists, and five rebounds. Alongside King in the double digits' column were his two sophomore running mates Brandon Horne (Louisville, Ky./Male), who had 16 and six assists and Ryne Callahan (Morehead, Ky./ Rowan County) ,who finished with 11 points and five rebounds.

Catching up with Brandon Horne after the game, we asked him how important it was to get back on the right track after two road losses last week and he said, "It hurt last week dropping two road games, but we knew we had to get back on track because we have a long season ahead of us and still have the chance to make a lot of noise in the conference."

The Tomcats of Thiel College also had eight players reach the scoring column and were led by Nyric Gosley, who finished the game with 14 points. Other notable scorers for Thiel were LeAndre Jackson with 11 points and Clandell Cetoute with seven points and 10 rebounds.

Speaking with head Coach Drew Cooper after the game he told us, "It was good to see us get this done tonight on the floor because our field goal percentage was so bad. Our defense executed the scouting report and rebounded very nicely which is what helped lead to this win."

The Saints will continue PAC play this weekend (Saturday, January 28, 2017) as they take on Chatham University. Tip-off will be at 3 p.m. inside the Connor Convocation Center.
