Snow had a marvelous first half, scoring 17 points on just 11 shots while also tallying four steals and three rebounds. The veteran guard ended the half with a big-time flurry, singlehandedly turning a seven-point R-N lead to 14 with a 7-0 run over the final 1:26 of the period. He started things with a layup, then tallied a steal and fastbreak layup with seven seconds on the clock, before stealing the inbounds pass and drilling a three-pointer as time expired.

Rutgers-Newark was able to build an early 16-8 lead, but the Scarlet Raptors fought back within two (20-18) midway through the opening period, but could not go back on top as the Scarlet Raiders were able to get some baskets when they needed them.

Ofray played well in the first period for Rutgers-Newark, scoring 12 points on six shots, nailing a pair of three-pointers and grabbing a trio of caroms.

R-N quickly expanded its lead to 18 (49-31) early in the second, and an Ofray triple upped the margin to 20 with 14:42 remaining. Rutgers-Camden chipped away to make it an 11-point game (57-46), but another Ofray three - this one assisted by Snow - slowed the momentum and the Scarlet Raptors could get no closer than 11 down the stretch.

Azoroh sealed the win in the final minutes for the Scarlet Raiders scoring seven-straight Rutgers-Newark points to help the hosts stay comfortably in front.

STAT OF THE NIGHT: Rutgers-Newark was plus-24 in points off turnovers, scoring 31 in the game compared to just seven for the Scarlet Raptors.
