Mitchell Biewen's baseline layup with :01 to play capped a 15-point second-half comeback and lifted Carleton to a 67-66 road victory over No. 3-ranked St. Thomas in Saturday night's MIAC men's basketball game at UST's Schoenecker Arena.

The Knights (4-2 overall, 2-0 MIAC) trailed 52-37 with 11:00 to go but used a 30-14 game-ending run to post a rare victory on the UST campus. Biewen scored all seven points in a 7-2 run over the final :30 and finished with a game-high 19 points.

The Tommies (4-1, 1-1) used a 28-9 run to open the second half and erase a 28-24 halftime deficit.

Carleton shot 54 percent on the game and overcame 11 Tommie 3-point baskets. UST shot just four free throws and made only one.

Biewen's trey with 20 seconds left put the Knights ahead 65-64. Grant Shaeffer's driving layup wiyh :09 to play regained the lead for UST. After a timeout, Carleton executed a play to a cuttling Biewen who banked in a layup with :01 to go.
