Rezendes scored 18 points, on 6-for-8 from the field and 2-for-2 from behind the three-point arc, in the final 20 minutes of regulation to help the Corsairs eclipse the 90-point threshold for the fourth times this winter. Earlier in the week, he netted 22 points, pulled in seven rebounds, and handed out four assists against Tufts.

A starter in 18 of his 20 games this season, Rezendes sits atop the Little East Conference individual standings in scoring (21.0 ppg), while ranking among the leaders in free throw percentage (2nd, .825), assists (4th, 4.2), steals (6th, 1.8), and rebounding (12th, 5.8 rpg). A prolific scorer, Rezendes has scored at least 20 points in 11 games, including four contests with at least 30 points. He registered a season-high 36 points, on 13-for-17 from the floor, to lead the Corsairs past Worcester State on Dec. 2, 2014. He also added his only double-double two days later at Bridgewater State, scoring 29 points and pulling in 10 rebounds. Rezendes hauled in a season-high 12 boards against Little East Conference rival Rhode Island College. He also produced 27 points, six rebounds, and a season-best nine assists against Messiah on Dec. 30, 2014.

Under the direction of Brian Baptiste, UMass Dartmouth is sporting a 12-9 overall record, including an 8-2 mark within the conference circuit. The Corsairs have won four consecutive Little East Conference games to seize sole possession of second place in the league standings. Baptiste and his charges have four games remaining in their regular-season schedule, including upcoming home dates against Eastern Connecticut (2/14) and Keene State College (2/21).

UMass Dartmouth will return to action at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, when the Corsairs travel to intrastate rival UMass Boston (10-11, 2-8).
