The Millikin men's basketball team lost at Principia College 83-74 on Dec. 3 in Elsah, Ill.

          Principia shot 47 percent from the field while holding the Big Blue to 39 percent.  Principia out scored Millikin at the free throw line hitting 22-35 (63 percent) while the Big Blue hit 11-19 (58 percent).  Millikin out rebounded Principia 40-37.

          Millikin's top scorer was Jacob Kueker with 18 points.  Jaylon Owens had a double double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Deavis Johnson had 11 points and eight rebounds.  The Big Blue were without leading scorer TJ Griffin who missed the game due to illness.

          Principia's top scorer was Damon Wilgus with 25 points and Kenny Sydness with 20.

          Millikin is now 5-2 while Principia goes to 1-4.  Millikin returns to action on Dec. 9 hosting Rose-Hulman at 7 p.m.
