Wesley Wins John's Hopkins Tournament, Langan MVP

BALTIMORE, MD – David Langan was named MVP and Quincy Pettiford was named to the All-Tournament team following a win against Johns Hopkins at the Blue Jay Invitational. The Wolverines beat the Jays 90-76.

Langan scored a career high 26 points, shooting 11 -11 from the field and 4-4 from the line. Langan also grabbed nine rebounds, contributing to the team win and his MVP title. James Livingston and Pettiford each scored 19 points, both shooting 100% from the line.

The Wolverines shot 32-58 (55.2 %) from the field, 9-19 (47.4%), and 17-24 (70.8%) from the line. There were seven lead changes in the game with Wesley carrying the largest lead of 20 points over the Jays in the 2nd half. The lead changes all occurred in the first half until Pettiford made a jump shot in the 12th minute of the game making the score 29-27. The Jays would not come back for the rest of the game.

The Wolverines return to the court against Albright at Wentworth Gym on Wednesday, November 20 for a 6 PM start.
