RADNOR, Pa. – After 20 days without game action, it took the Cabrini College men's basketball a few minutes to find its touch, but after 40 minutes, the Cavaliers improved to 7-3 on the year with an 87-69 win over the visiting Wesleyan University Cardinals.

The Cardinals tool early control of the score board building a 14-7 lead just five minutes into the game.  Cabrini responded with a 13-1 spurt, capped by a Walton-Moss lay-up, establishing a 20-15 lead.  A Knowles' three pointer in the final minute of the opening stanza gave the Blue and White a 40-28 lead.

The Cavaliers built their lead by turning defense into offense.  Cabrini held the Cardinals to 1-12 from three-point range and converted nine Wesleyan turnovers into 16 first half points.

Cabrini turned up its defensive pressure in the second half as a steal by junior Corey Frizzera led to an A.J. Williams lay-up and a 47-31 lead just over two minutes into the half.  Wesleyan cut the lead back to seven points with a 9-0 run of its own.   A Williams three-pointer stemmed the tide and sent the Cavaliers on a 12-4 lead, extending their lead to 62-44 with 10:46 to play.
