Trinity Men's Basketball Defeated At Colby

Waterville, Maine - Ben Foreman (Los Angeles, Calif.) scored 18 of his game-high 28 points in the second half as the Colby College men's basketball team Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference play this evening. Colby moves to 5-10 overall and 1-3 in the NESCAC, while Trinity falls to 10-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Foreman was 6-for-11 from the field and 11-for-11 from the foul line. He made nine of the free throws in the second half, had three assists, and three steals. Foreman nailed five of his eight 3-point shots. Kyle Donovan (Portland, Maine) finished with 10 points, two blocks, and two steals for Colby. Connor O'Neil (Freeport, Maine) and Eric Beaulieu (Concord, Mass.) each had nine points.

The Bantams had a 33-22 rebounding advantage in the game, but the Mules shot nearly 53 percent in the second half on the way to 40 points. Mick Distasio (Yarmouth, Maine) finished with 13 points, three assists, and three steals for the Bantams. Carter Trent (LIttle Rock, Ark.) added 11 points and four assists, while Varun Ram (Clarkville, Md.) had 10 points.
