Balanced scoring puts MSOE men's basketball past Benedictine on the road

Senior guard Bennett Deacon, junior guard Oren Bloom and sophomore forward Victor Bande each scored in double figures as the Raiders knocked off Benedictine 64-60 in Lisle, Ill. Wednesday night. Deacon and Bande both had 13 points while Bloom put in 12 in the key NAC victory for MSOE. Bloom also had seven rebounds to lead the Raiders.

Bande hit a three-pointer to put MSOE up 11-10 with 10:28 left in the first half and the Raiders would not trail again after that. Freshman guard John Cording and junior forward Michael Ricciardi each had seven points. MSOE held the Eagles to 28% shooting from the field in the first half.

The Raiders (13-5, 7-3 NAC) host Lakeland Saturday at the Kern Center at 4:15 p.m.
