Williams denied Ithaca twice in the closing moments of regulation and then seized control in overtime for a 64-60 victory.

The Bombers had the ball with nine seconds left and a tie score but could not get a shot off, sending the game to overtime. In extra time Claire Baecher gave Williams the lead with a steal and layup and Jennie Harding sealed the Ephs' win with a late 3-pointer.

Baecher finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and four blocks in 43 minutes of action. She is averaging 21 points, 11 rebounds and 40 minutes through three tournament games.

Whitman made all six free throws down the stretch and rallied past Emory 67-62. Emory led by six at the break and made 47 percent of its 3-pointers, but the Eagles went cold late, giving Whitman the chance to advance. Sarah Anderegg had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Missionairies. Savannah Morgan had 17 points and five assists for Emory.

Williams meets Whitman on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET in the regional finals.

No. 2 Hope outlasted St. Thomas 71-61 in a game that was much closer than the final score indicated. The Flying Dutch and Tommies battled back and forth until Hope pulled away with a 17-4 run. The Flying Dutch hit nine 3-pointers, including all five they took in the second half. Brittany Berry hit five of six shots from behind the arc and scored 20 points. Photo gallery.

UW-Whitewater has plenty of reason to celebrate, but not much time to prepare to face No. 2 Hope.

No. 1 DePauw dominated No. 21 Washington U. 59-42 to stay perfect. The Tigers led from tip to finish, held the Bears to eight field goals in each half and had a 23-point advantage with five minutes left. It was the Bears' lowest point total of the season. Wash U had lost to DePauw by one point early in the season.

No. 17 Christopher Newport ended No. 5 Montclair State's dream season as the Captains defeated the Redhawks 83-70. Christopher Newport scored 50 points in the second half, sending Montclair State home with a 29-1 record. The Captains get a shot at another undefeated team when they face DePauw tomorrow night.
