Three of the four road teams advanced through the MAC Commonwealth semifinals while the Scranton men and King's women also won on the road. Elsewhere St. Scholastica ousted top-seed Northwestern (Minn.) from the UMAC men's tournament.

Lycoming, which was picked last in the MAC Commonwealth preseason poll, will play for the conference championship on Saturday after the Warriors defeated Widener, 90-77. Lycoming (19-8) hit eight 3-pointers in the second half with three coming from Matt Ilodigwe in a five-minute span. Darius Dangerfield led the way with 25 points, six assists and four rebounds for the Warriors. Widener (19-7) was ranked sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings released yesterday and will sit behind at least two teams for at-large bids in its own region.

Arcadia will host Lycoming in Saturday's MAC Commonwealth title game after the Knights outlasted Albright 93-89 in overtime. Arcadia (16-10) shot 52 percent with 40 points from Da'Kquan Davis and 32 more from Steve Pendleton. Arcadia and Lycoming split their regular season series with each winning on the other's floor.

Scranton used a quick start and a 31-point night from Logan Bailey to oust Drew from the Landmark Conference tournament, 93-81. The Royals (19-7) shot 57 percent from the field and converted 19 Drew turnovers into 26 points. Scranton will face top-seed Susquehanna in the title game since the River Hawks rolled over Moravian, 76-43.

In the UMAC men's tournament, St. Scholastica upended Northwestern (Minn.), 85-82, dealing the Eagles their first playoff loss at home since 2010. Jack Silgen notched a career-high 27 points for the Saints who will head to Bethany Lutheran for the UMAC title game. The Vikings defeated UW-Superior, 92-72.

On the women's side, the Top 25 teams remained perfect in postseason play, as No. 14 Scranton, No. 21 DeSales and No. 22 Messiah all won by double digits. The best game of the night on the women's side came in Chester, Pa. where Albright defeated Widener, 81-73 in overtime. The Lions (22-4) got 42 points and 30 rebounds combined from Gabby Boggs and Dejah Terrell. Widener (21-5) drops into the pool of teams hoping for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

In the MAC Freedom tournament, King's made the short trip to Misericordia and eliminated the Cougars, 74-63. The Monarchs (16-10) broke open the game by doubling up Misericordia in the second quarter, 26-13. Rebecca Prociak led King's with 21 points and seven rebounds while Tessa Zamolyi tallied 23 points and seven rebounds for the Cougars.
