Chris Lemasters is out as head men's basketball coach at Penn College. He had been in the position since 2011-12, the first year as an interim coach. He was only the second full-time head coach in the program's history.

The Wildcats struggled in their first year as a provisional member of Division III, going just 3-22, and 2-16 vs. NEAC opponents. One of the wins was against fellow provisional member Alfred State, and another vs. Wilson, in its first year of men's basketball.

The Wildcats were 4-21 the year before, playing primarily non-Division III branch campuses of the Penn State system.
