The All-Region team is cat country, as Ashlyn Milton of the Trinity Tigers is the Player of the Year and Jason Pruitt of the La Verne Leopards is Coach of the Year. Rookie of the Year goes to Sul Ross State's Melody Martinez.

Albertus Magnus upset No. 1 St. Joseph (Conn.) and sent the last undefeated team in Division III men’s hoops into the NCAA Tournament with a loss. Meanwhile, Schreiner completed its Cinderella run, Sewanee stunned Berry, and everything went according to form on the women’s side.

St. Mary's (Minn.) pulled off one of the most unexpected upsets of the season in a wire-to-wire win over unbeaten Bethel. Elsewhere No. 17 Scranton and Haverford pulled themselves into first place ties and No. 14 Trinity took control of the SCAC.
