Pitt-Greensburg named Hayley Schaetzle as its new head women's basketball coach. She was previously a graduate assistant to Roz Fornari at Penn State-Behrend and was briefly interim coach when Fornari retired.
GREENSBURG, PA- Frostburg State’s Jackie Kimmel connected on a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds remaining in the game lifting the Bobcats to a 63-63 victory over Pitt-Greensburg Saturday afternoon in Chambers Hall. UPG falls to 1-9 overall on the season and are off until they travel to Philadelphia University on December 28th.
GREENSBURG, PA- Casey Stanton (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 20 points and 14 rebounds and three other Lady Bobcats scored in double figures as Pitt-Greensburg picked up their first win of the season75-43 over Hilbert Saturday afternoon.
Pittsburgh, PA- Casey Stanton (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) scored 19 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in a 73-61 loss to La Roche College Wednesday evening in the Kerr Fitness Center. The Lady Bobcats fall to 0-7 on the season and 0-3 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
GREENSBURG, PA- Junior Kayla Watson (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) scored a career high 15 points in her first appearance of the season but Pitt-Greensburg couldn’t come back from a 15 point half time deficit as #25 Medaille College knocked off the Bobcats 59-46.

Huntingdon, PA- Casey Stanton (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) recorded her second straight double-double and Ali Bilak (Wall, PA/East Allegheny) led all scorers with 15 points but Pitt-Greensburg (0-4) couldn’t overcome 31 turnovers as the fell to Juniata College 64-45 Saturday afternoon.
Pittsburgh, PA- Casey Stanton (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) set two career highs with 36 points and 16 rebounds but Pitt-Greensburg (0-3) couldn’t overcome a slow start falling to Chatham University (4-1) 70-59 Tuesday evening.
Grantham, PA- Casey Stanton (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) netted a game high 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Pitt-Greensburg (0-1) fell at #15 Messiah College (1-1) 77-45.
