The University of Dallas named Hendrix assistant coach Bri Calver as its new head women's basketball coach.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women's basketball team was tied with No. 20 Trinity University after three quarters on Friday night. The nationally ranked opponent pulled away in the middle of the last 10 minutes to secure a 60-53 final.

As a student and two-sport athlete at the University of Dallas, Shelby Waldron's life was already full. But she yearned for a return to the beauty pageant circuit where she competed in high school.
