Nichols rallied from a big deficit to knock off Rochester, Lancaster Bible gave the United East a first-round win for the third Tournament in a row, and the program that Jim Calhoun built finally got a D-III NCAA Tournament victory. The UAA, which had five teams selected to the tournament, lost its first three of the night but rallied to win its last two.
The victory marked the first NCAA Tournament win in school history across all programs as the Blue Jays now advance to take on No. 14 Williams College on Saturday.
