    Bill McKee, who spent the past four seasons as Augsburg women's basketball head coach, passed away on Thursday morning, Aug. 27, 2015, after a battle with kidney cancer. He was 62 years old.

    A balanced offensive attack and a season-low in turnovers, allowed the Augsburg College women's basketball team to earn a 61-47 victory over Concordia College-Moorhead in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Auditorium. The win completes the season-sweep of the Cobbers, which is believed to be the first time the Auggie women have earned a sweep over the Cobbers in the varsity era (1972).

    Brittany Zins (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) recorded her second double-double of the season to lead the Augsburg College women's basketball team but it wasn't enough as the Auggies dropped a hard-fought 70-60 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest to the College of St. Benedict on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.

    The Augsburg College women's basketball team recorded a 61-50 victory over the College of Saint Benedict on Wednesday night in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at Claire Lynch Hall. The win breaks a 25-season, 50-game losing streak to the Blazers and is the first time in Saint Benedict coach Mike Durbin's career that he has lost to the Auggies.
