#9 DePauw Holds on for Win over #12 Titans

Milwaukee, Wis. - Ninth-ranked DePauw moved to 4-0 on the season following a 60-55 victory over #12 Wisconsin-Oshkosh at Wisconsin Lutheran's Paul Knueppel Classic. The Titans dropped to 2-2.

The Tigers scored the game's first seven points on the way to an 11-6 lead at the quarter break. UW-Oshkosh was still within five at 19-14 after Leah Porath's bucket with 4:28 left in the half, but Sydney Kopp's layup and Grace Kinsey's 3-pointer moved the margin to double digits. Mya Shannon buried a three and Kopp hit a jumper with 1:50 remaining to cap a 10-0 run and give the Tigers a 29-14 advantage. The Titans countered with a bucket and DePauw held a 29-16 lead at the intermission.

DePauw led by as many as 20 on three occasions in the third and carried a 48-30 lead into the fourth. UW-Oskosh scored the first seven points of the final stanza and held DePauw scoreless for nearly four minutes before Hayley Cange ended the drought with a bucket with 6:01 left. The Titans closed to within eight at 50-42 when Porath nailed a three with 4:47 remaining.

Keefe responded with a trey before Kinsey knocked in two free throws to push the lead to 55-42 at the 3:51 mark.

The Titans scored eight straight as Emily Miller hit one of two free throws before Olivia Campbell completed a three-point play, Abby Kasier followed with a layup and Campbell added a bucket to make it 55-50 with 1:27 left.

Kinsey made one of two free throws with 33 seconds left before Porath cut the margin to four at 56-52 with a basket with 20 seconds left. Kopp and Cange, however, each nailed two free throws to seal the win. The Titans added a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Keefe led the Tigers with 20 points, while Kopp followed with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Cange added 10 points. Porath paced the Titans with 14 points followed by Miller with 13. Campbell grabbed six boards.

DePauw shot 40.8 percent from the field to UW-Oshkosh's 33.9 and the Tigers held a 40-29 edge on the boards. 

The Tigers take on host Wisconsin Lutheran tomorrow at 3 p.m. CST tomorrow.
