GREENVILLE, Pa. – Jaclyn Watkins scored a season-high 19 points Wednesday, but it wasn't enough for the Thiel College women's basketball team in a 74-63 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at Beeghly Gymnasium.

Watkins' 19 points and 14 rebounds were game-bests for the Tomcats, who led the Yellow Jackets 32-31 at halftime. Waynesburg outscored Thiel 25-16 in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

With her 19 points Wednesday Watkins moved into ninth place on Thiel's all-time scoring list with 1,096 career points. Watkins surpassed Teresa Collins, who amassed 1,095 career points in the 1980s.

Addy Knetzer recorded a double-double for the Yellow Jackets with 19 points and 13 rebounds while Katie Gehlmann and Kassidy O'Keefe each scored 12 points. Haley Delaney also contributed 11 points for Waynesburg.

The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they host the Grove City Wolverines in a PAC contest at Beeghly Gymnasium. The contest is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
