Millikin Women’s Basketball Rolls Over Principia

          The Millikin women's basketball team rolled to an 80-38 victory over Principia College on November 25 in the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.  Millikin is now 4-1 on the season while Principia goes to 2-1.

          Millikin shot 64.5 percent from the field in the first half building a 48-20 advantage at the half.  The Big Blue shot 57 percent from the field on the game while holding the Panthers to 34 percent.  Millikin out rebounded Principia 36-19 and forced 25 Panther turnovers.

          Millikin had five players score in double figures lead by Kelsey Going and Hannah Millington with 15 each.  Alyssa Saklak had 12 points followed by Devin Curry with 11 and Emma Hoyer with 10.  Going had a team high seven rebounds.  Yip Ypya had nine points and six assists.

          Rachel Perea led Principia with 14 points.

          Millikin will be back in action on December 3 hosting Robert Morris-Springfield.
