BEAVER FALLS, PA (February 9, 2011) . . . The Chatham University women's basketball team defeated host Geneva College tonight in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action by a final score of 60-48. Due to Geneva's NCAA Division III provisional status, however, these results do not count towards overall PAC standings.

The Cougars were led by Lizz King (Cabot, PA/Knoch) tonight, who finished with a game-high 18 points – all from behind the three-point arc. This ties a school record for Chatham. King is also the school's career leader in three-point field goals made with 139, surpassing the previous record of 134.

Leading the Cougars in other categories in tonight's victory was Carly Zelenak (Mt. Pleasant, PA/Mt. Pleasant) and Felicia Brown (Temple Hills, MD/Friendly), who each had a team-high six rebounds. Senior Barb Petty (Amelia, OH/Glen Este) also led the team in the assists column, finishing the game with a game-high five.
