The Lakers dropped to 7-11 overall and 4-7 in conference play. Fredonia improved to 4-13 overall and 2-9 in the SUNYAC.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle that featured 29 turnovers, seven ties, and seven lead changes with the largest scoring differential came with 5:11 left to play following a Kristen Diglio trey to put Oswego State ahead 23-17.  The Lakers struggled from the floor in the first half as they went 8-of-22 from the floor, but converted 11 of 14 attempts from the free throw line to lead 30-28 at halftime.

With the score tied at 35 apiece early in the second half, Fredonia took the lead for good compliments of a 9-0 run, including five points from Nicole Calbi, to go ahead 44-35.  Coach Bruno's squad pulled to within one point after a three-point play by Traci Bacon, a layup by Ryan, and a three-pointer by Jenna Rossi to make the score 46-45.  However, the Blue Devils countered with six unanswered points to push the margin back to seven midway through the frame and they maintained that lead in the final minute as Grace Moore and Cara Hourihan made four free throws to clinch the win.

Colleen McCready joined Ryan in double-digits with 10 points to go along with six boards for the Lakers.  Fredonia featured a balanced offensive attack as four players reached double figures, including Nicole Cabi, who poured in 13 points.  Jamie Warren posted a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
