GROVE CITY, PA (January 10, 2011) . . . The Chatham University women's basketball team fell to host Grove City College tonight by a final score of 62-46 in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action.
Grove City earned their third consecutive victory tonight with the win over the visiting Cougars. The Wolverines held a two point lead at the half and out-scored Chatham 39-25 in the second half on route to their PAC victory.
No Cougars finished in double figures in tonight's loss. Senior Sonjia Hoston (Homestead, PA/Wilkinsburg) and first year Carly Zelenak (Mt. Pleasant, PA/Mt. Pleasant) each finished with nine points while Zelenak added a season-high eight rebounds.
Chatham (5-8, 1-4) returns to action on Wednesday, January 12th as they travel to Washington and Jefferson College (W&J) for a 7 pm PAC match-up.
