Senior guard Sam Husting and freshman guard Aidyn Albright connected on four three-pointers apiece Tuesday night in an 83-73 victory at Lawrence University.

Husting scored all 12 of his points on 4-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc and Albright was 4-for-8 from long range and 4-for-4 from the foul line while accounting for 16 of the Foresters' 20 points off the bench.

Junior guard Sean Espinosa led the visitors with 23 points and added four rebounds and four assists. Sophomore guard Tashon Brown matched Albright with 16 points and led all players in the game with a career-high 12 rebounds for his first double-double. Senior wing Aram Arslanian shot 5-for-6 from the field and finished with 10 points.

While both teams knocked down slightly less than 50 percent of their field goal attempts and shot 36 percent on three-pointers, Lake Forest outscored the home team 17-7 from the foul line, out-rebounded the Vikings 35-27, and committed just nine turnovers while forcing 16.

Lawrence led by as many as six points and Lake Forest by three in the opening period. Back-to-back layups by Brown and Espinosa tied the game at 33 going into the locker room at halftime.

The score was tied again after a three-pointer by Husting with 15:32 to play and Albright was successful from beyond the arc on the Foresters' next trip down the court, giving the visitors the lead for good. The Vikings closed to within a point three times in the next three minutes before Albright hit two more three-pointers during a 10-2 run that gave Lake Forest a little breathing room. Lawrence pulled back to within three with 7:00 on the clock but got no closer. Albright and Espinosa were each 4-for-4 from the line in the final three-and-a-half minutes to help secure the road victory.

The Foresters improved to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in the Midwest Conference while Lawrence's overall record fell to 7-7 and league mark to 3-4.

Lake Forest will celebrate Alumni Day and host Cornell College Saturday afternoon at 1:00.
