LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's basketball team survived a test at home, upending Dominican University to win a seventh in a row.

• Dominican succeeded in slowing down the pace of the game, especially early in the contest
• Benedictine led for most of the half but could not pull away
• Dominican grabbed a brief 24-22 edge with just over seven minutes left in the half
• Eric Grygo immediately tied the game with a layup, opening a 9-0 run that saw Benedictine jump ahead 31-24 on a basket from Kenny Bogus
• Grygo had a big game inside, challenging Dominican consistently
• Mike Boatright enabled Benedictine to open a double-digit lead late in the half and Benedictine went into the break leading 39-28
