MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Benedictine University men's basketball team opened a weekend trip to Memphis with a gritty win over LeTourneau University.

THE DETAILS
Benedictine came out of the gates quickly, building an 8-2 lead less than three minutes into the contest
LeTourneau, playing as the visiting team, took the lead just three minutes later as the back-and-forth nature of the contest began to unfold
Down 30-27 with 5:35 left in the half, Nick Kosich hit a three-pointer in transition to open a 12-0 run
Eric Grygo finished the run with a pair of free throws as Benedictine led 39-30 with 3:53 remaining
LeTourneau pulled within three, but Grygo notched the final five points of the half as Benedictine held a 46-38 lead
The run of Grygo continued with the first three points of the second half to build a double-digit lead at 49-38
LeTourneau came storming back with an 11-0 run to tie the game with 16:06 to go in the game
Mike Boatright scored the next five points and Benedictine did not trail the rest of the way
The teams traded turnovers in the final minute as LeTourneau pulled within 79-78 at the 25-second mark
Benedictine missed four consecutive free throws but forced two more turnovers in the final 10 seconds, sealing the win on a layup from Kyle Graebner

STAT LEADERS
Boatright had a huge game, tallying a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds to go with four steals
Grygo also logged a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards
Kenny Bogus netted 14 with seven rebounds and seven assists while Kyle Graebner was the fourth in double figures with 10
The starting lineup contributed 77 of the 81 points
Benedictine scored 50 points in the paint and held a 51-42 edge on the glass while shooting 40.8 percent in the game
