GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- 27 points from Will Davis, 14 from Courtney Cubbage, and 13 from Rich Dunham helped Gwynedd Mercy take down Keystone, 88-67, Monday night at The Griffin Complex.

The Griffins (18-5, 13-3 CSAC), who now sit in second place in the conference, will head to third-place Neumann on Wednesday in a matchup of two teams looking to secure the #2 playoff seed and a first-round bye.

Davis grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season. Cubbage added four steals and five boards while Rip Engel handed out seven assists.

Tied at 18-18 midway through the first half off a three from Mark Gilliam, Gwynedd started to heat up and go on a 13-0 run to take a double-digit lead. After another three from Keystone's Jalen Flynn, GMercyU went on another run, this time an 11-0 spurt over a two minute span capped by a three from rookie Matt Carter for a 42-21 lead with just under five minutes in the first stanza. The lead grew to as much as 27 (52-25) before the Giants got it to a 54-31 score at the break.

The Griffin lead started to shrink in the second, as Keystone put together scoring stretches to cut into the Gwynedd advantage. Gilliam would strike again from downtown to put a cap on a 7-0 spurt to pull Keystone to 67-56 with 6:32 to play. After a Giant timeout, GMercyU came out like gangbusters, scoring eight-straight points, four each from Davis and Cubbage to put Keystone on its heels.

Davis nailed his third triple of the game with 2:54 left to restore a 20-point edge (80-60) and shift the momentum for good.

Gilliam finished with 15 points and Flynn added 13. Perry Belcher led the Giants (10-13, 8-8 CSAC) with 17 points and seven boards.

Carter and Davis each hit three trifectas, as the team totaled 10 on the evening. Gwynedd capitalized on 18 Keystone turnovers to score 27 points.
