Albright's Derek Hall Moves to Falco KC-Szombathely

Albright alum Derek Hall '12 has signed with his second professional European team, moving to Falco KC-Szombathely of the Hungarian A Division.

Hall played for Marso NYKK of the Hungarian A League last season.

In 32 games (24.6 minutes per contest) for Marso, Hall was second on the team in rebounding with 5.6 rpg. He added 9.4 ppg on 57.5% shooting, and 1.1 apg.

Hall has dual-citizenship with the United States and Hungary, allowing him to count as a European player under international roster limits.

Falco KC plays in the town of Szombathely, and won their lone Hungarian Championship in 2007-08. Last season, the team finished in 11th place with a record of 13-21, while Marso NYKK (8-26) was relegated from the top division.

Hall was named to the D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region team in 2011-12, his senior season at Albright. He was a third-team selection.

He led the Commonwealth Conference in rebounding (10.1 rpg) and was third in blocks (38). He was fourth in both scoring (15.9 ppg) and field goal percentage (53.5). He also recorded his 1000th career point late in the season in a win over Widener.

Hall was a first team All-Commonwealth selection, a two-time league Player of the Week, and a one-time ECAC South Player of the Week that year.

A three-year starter, he was a key player  for Albright's Commonwealth Conference championship team in 2009-10.
