NEW HAVEN, CONN. – A trio of Norwich University Cadets posted double figures during a 102-57 loss to Albertus Magnus Dec. 8.
Senior forward Antonio Davis (Albany, N.Y.) topped the group with 17 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Sophomore guard Tommy McDonald (Groton, Mass.), coming off a 35-point outing Sunday against SUNY-Purchase, tossed in 11, and freshman forward Evan Tullar (Chelsea, Vt.) added 14.
Albertus Magnus, moving to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the GNAC, opened a 30-9 lead midway through the first half and didn't look back. Norwich slipped to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in the league.
The Maroon and Gold close their pre-Christmas schedule with a home tilt against Emmanuel in GNAC play Saturday, Dec. 10. Tipoff is 1 p.m. inside Andrews Gymnasium.
