MSOE men's basketball knocks off Beloit 60-54

MILWAUKEE -- Senior Bennett Deacon and Austin Meier each scored 14 points as the Raiders beat Beloit 60-54 at the Kern Center Tuesday night. Meier also had nine rebounds and seven steals. 

Back-to-back three pointers from junior Michael Ricciardi and Deacon put MSOE up 56-49 with 1:44 left in the game. Freshman guard John Cording started the first game of his career and scored nine points and had assists and just one turnover. Juniors Rob Linzmeier, Oren Bloom and Ricciardi each logged seven points. The Raiders forced 20 Buccaneers turnovers.

MSOE (3-0) will play UW-Eau Claire Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the UW-Oshkosh Tournament.
