We asked coaches who have seen Mary Hardin-Baylor play this season to weigh in on the Cru. Here's what they said:

How to beat Mary Hardin-Baylor

UMHB is a very gritty and athletic team. Defensively you need to limit their transition opportunities as well as penetration. It really comes down to knowing their personnel, keeping them out of the paint, and not allowing them to make a living on the offensive glass. Rebounds are a premium against this team.

On the offensive end UMHB mainly plays a sagging man-to-man defense, however they are quick recovering to the ball and don't give you a lot of time to shoot. Ball movement is key to taking/making shots.

UMHB has really come together as a team throughout the course of the season. They have a never-say-die mentality.
