| Selecting Wittenberg as the top team in the Great Lakes region was an easy call. Lots of other ranking choices were not. |
The first public NCAA regional rankings were released this afternoon. We will get two more sets released each Wednesday afternoon. The committees create one more ranking on Sunday, Feb. 25, and releases it to the public after the selections are announced.

Note: For now we are showing the records as they are printed on the NCAA's release. When the NCAA releases its rankings, the first record is generally in-region record and the second record is the overall record. In this case it appears that in-region records shown in the release itself are incorrect but the underlying information in the data sheets are correct. The in-region records shown here omit results that would be considered regional under the NCAA's 70 percent rule.
