UW-Oshkosh ended UW-Stevens Point's nine-game streak, while Buena Vista extended Wartburg's streak in the opposite direction in Saturday's afternoon women's action.

No. 20 UW-Oshkosh outscored the 14th-ranked Pointers 43-22 after halftime to win 60-46. Taylor Schmidt scored all of her game-high 16 points in the second half to fuel the strong second half for UW-Oshkosh, which improved to 12-3, 3-1 WIAC. Stevens Point fell to 12-3, 3-1.

Buena Vista handed Wartburg its second road loss in as many games, as Jasmyn Flynn-Graves scored a game-high 22 points in an 83-80 win vs. the No. 13 Knights. Katie Sommer hit a 3-pointer for Wartburg to cut the Beavers' lead to two with 62 seconds left, then hit another in the final second to cut a six-point lead to the final margin of three.

St. Vincent had an early lead at home vs. Thomas More but the No. 1-ranked Saints powered through the middle two quarters en route to a 79-52 win. Sydney Moss tied for the team lead with 18 points and had a team-high 12 rebounds and seven assists in the win.

No. 2 George Fox completed a successful weekend at home with a victory over Whitworth 82-72. Kaitlin Jamieson scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Bruins who have wins over the other three NWC teams with winning conference records. No. 16 Ohio Northern beat Baldwin Wallace 66-63 to improve to 8-0 in conference. The Yellow Jackets took a 63-61 lead with 1:29 left but Britt Lauch answered with a three that put the Polar Bears back in front for good.

No. 19 St. Thomas jumped out to a big lead early at St. Mary's (Minn.) and held on to beat the Cardinals, 76-67. Katie Stone hit five 3-pointers and scored 18 points for the Tommies who trail St. Mary's by one game in the MIAC standings.

Coming off a big win over North Park, No. 15 Wheaton (Ill.) couldn't sustain that momentum as the Thunder fell at Elmhurst, 60-50. The Bluejays outscored Wheaton 20-6 over the final eight minutes.

Beyond the Top 25: DSU, CNU heating up; Sage, WPI stay hot

DeSales routed FDU-Florham 74-51 to distance itself from the defending conference champions in the standings. Morgan McCollian scored 22 points and Jen Napolitano added 20 more for the Bulldogs (11-4, 4-0). DeSales has won its last seven games.

Christopher Newport beat York (Pa.) 76-56 for its eighth straight win.  Anitra Thomas notched 23 points and four assists for the Captains. They also got a little help from Mary Washington which dealt Marymount its first conference loss, 62-49. The Saints have a one game lead on CNU, York and Mary Washington.

Sage started the game on a 12-0 run and ran its winning streak to 12 in a row with a 74-51 win vs. Farmingdale State. Macie Holmes had 19 points to lead the Gators (13-2, 9-0 Skyline). It doesn't get any better for Farmingdale, as the Rams host Amherst on Tuesday.

Lisa Mendez spearheaded a 10-0 second half run as WPI won its 13th in a row beating Coast Guard 58-45. The Engineers improved to 15-1 overall, 7-0 in the league. Mendez's six points at the end of the quarter sparked a 10-0 run into the fourth quarter as WPI took a 41-31 lead on a basket by sophomore Maura Buckley with 8:33 left.

UW-Superior defeated Northwestern (Minn.) 60-50 to seize first place in the UMAC. The Yellowjackets moved to the UMAC from the WIAC this season. Bluffton stayed perfect by trouncing Hanover, 87-68. The Beavers are the last undefeated, unranked team in Division III women's basketball.

Rowan improved to 15-1 on the season and remained perfect in the NJAC as the Profs defeated Rutgers-Newark 72-59. Kate Matthews had 12 points and 17 rebounds, while Kaitlin Schullstrom added 16 for the Profes in the win.

Ella Ramonas scored seven of her game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter as Southern Maine surged past the UMass Dartmouth 68-55. Ramonas was 7-for-15 from the field en route to her 19 points, including a pair of three-pointers. The Huskies and Corsairs headed into the fourth quarter tied up at 48. Beth Castantini, who hit a game-tying jumper to close out the third, put the Corsairs ahead 50-48 in the opening minute of the fourth quarter, but Southern Maine responded with 14-0 run to seize control.

Drew turned an 19-point deficit into a nine-point win as the Rangers flipped Susquehanna 180 degrees to take home the 68-59 Landmark Conference victory in double overtime. Drew (7-10, 4-4) trailed 21-6 at the half and 30-11 early in the third quarter before rallying to tie the game at 49 at the end of regulation and Sam Lane, Hannah Miller and Ryan Jackson each scored four points in the second overtime to put the Crusaders (10-5, 3-4) away.

 Eastern Mennonite hit 18 of its 39 three-point attempts at home and crushed Hollins, 89-63.
