Lebanon Valley has named Amy Sokaitis as its head coach of women's basketball.
Sokaitis arrives in Annville from Division II Southern Connecticut State, where she has spent the last three years as the top assistant coach. She replaces Todd Goclowski, who was let go unexpectedly at the end of April following a 21-7 season.
"I am pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Sokaitis as our head women's basketball coach," Beard said. "Amy's energy, enthusiasm, and drive to succeed will be a great formula to continue the tradition of success we have come to expect with our women's basketball program."
The Flying Dutchmen have won three of the last four Commonwealth Conference championships and qualified for five straight NCAA Tournaments under Goclowski, including Elite Eight and Sweet 16 appearances in that span.
