Brevard will be looking for its first win of the 2020 calendar year after securing three victories during the early portion of the 2019-20 schedule. Prior to the new year, BC secured a 78-58 victory over Wesleyan College back on December 7, 2019, preceding back-to-back road defeats in USA South play to Berea College and Huntingdon College.

Agnes Scott will be in search of its first overall win of the 2019-20 season following an 0-12 start.

Brevard has been led offensively by junior forward Deja Riddick, who has averaged 11.6 ppg through her team's first 11 games. Riddick has eclipsed double-figure scoring totals six times this season and has impressively reached the 20-point plateau on three occasions. In Brevard's last outing versus Huntingdon, Riddick posted a new career-high with 23 points – eclipsing her previous career-mark set in the season opener against Toccoa Falls College on November 12, 2019 (22 points) – by making six field goals and a career-best 11 free throws made.

The Scotties have been led by Garis Grant and Emma Olsen, who have scored 9.8 ppg and 9.5 ppg respectively for the Agnes Scott offense.

Following play on Wednesday, the Tornados head back on the road for a trip to Macon, Georgia as BC will seek a season sweep over Wesleyan on Friday, January 10 at 6 p.m.
