This week we’re talking about the Bates men’s swimming team fulfilling Max Cory’s prediction: two conference titles in relays at the NESCAC Championships. This week we continue our spring sports previews with men’s lacrosse, baseball, and tennis. Plus, Bates alpine skiing senior captain Nic Hotermans represented Belgium at the World Championships in Austria last week. We caught up with him to chat about what it was like to ski in front of 20,000 people.

It finally happened! A member of the Bates swimming and diving program won an individual NCAA championship. And not only did junior Max Cory win the national title in the 100-yard freestyle, he broke the NCAA Division III record along the way, with his championship final time of 42.88 seconds.
