Staff at WSUP are the life-blood of the radio station. Music staff organizes, sorts, and listens to new music, forwarding only best onto the Productions crew for editing. Productions edits music, makes the sweepers you know and love, and produces all the great content that goes out on the air waves. Our Promotions and Public Affairs teams stay hard at work updating our social media accounts, organizing events, and maintaining a relationship with the community. Our News and Sports analysts bring you the hard hitting stories at from the local level to the global and casting play-by-play on University of Wisconsin -- Platteville sports!
THE EXECUTIVE STAFF
WSUP is a University of Wisconsin - Platteville Student Organization operated by a student Executive Staff. The Executive Staff oversees the day-to-day operations of WSUP, volunteer members, and each has a set of responsibilities to keep 90.5 FM running smoothly. Executive members are elected by the calendar year and are expected to maintain a good academic standing during their term.
THE STATION
WSUP is a non-profit, student run radio station based out of Platteville, Wisconsin. Our license is owned by the UW System Board of Regents and we broadcast at 90.5 MHz with an effective radiated power of 1000 watts. WSUP is all about community outreach, but you don't have to live in the area to listen to all of our great programming. We can be heard here on our website, on the TuneIn app, or locally on 90.5 FM.
