NCAA Ticketed Events-Terms & Conditions Masking Protocols: Given the recent status of many municipalities/states/campuses that may have relaxed their masking requirements, the NCAA Basketball staff has affirmed that the following shall still apply during Championship events: *Non-Tier 1 individuals that are required to be in a designated Tier 1 area must physically distance themselves from all Tier 1 individuals. Face coverings are also required if in Tier 1 designated areas that are indoor. Host staff should also be aware of, and adhere to, local/state guidelines. *All individuals immediately adjacent to the court, including but not limited to, the official scorer’s table, media whose job responsibilities allow them on the court, spirit squads, and media members seated on the first row of the media table, must be masked. All media must wear masks while teams are present in the media interview room. *There is no requirement for the Tier 1 individuals (participants and game officials) to wear a face covering/mask during the competition. However, if they will have continuous and extended engagements with non-Tier 1 individuals, then they should wear masks/face coverings when not competing. *Tier 1 is defined as the participant's travel party/bench size and game officials.
