The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 22nd season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women's

Emma Dorshimer

Dorshimer averaged 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists as the Bullets opened 2-1. She posted a team-high 16 points in a close 74-69 setback to No. 11 Messiah before dropping 21 and 37 against Juniata and Lebanon Valley, respectively in the Rinso Marquette Tip-off Tournament. Dorshimer poured in 17 points in the third quarter of the championship game against the host Dutchmen and was named tourney MVP. She finished 14-of-20 from the floor and her scoring output tied the best total by a Bullet in 34 years and was just six shy of the program record.

Maddie Capuano
Capuano has helped the Greyhounds start the season with a 4-0 mark by averaging 25.5 points per game. She is 34-for-74 from the floor and 15-of-38 on three-pointers while going 19-for-23 at the foul line. Capuano had 19 points at Albright, a career-high 33 points vs. Penn State Lehigh Valley, 30 points vs. Lynchburg and 20 points vs. Eastern. The last two games were in the Kean Classic where she was named the MVP.

Madison Temple
Temple led the fifth-ranked Saints to a 4-0 start to the season. She is averaging 24.0 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals per game to go along with four blocks. Temple had a triple-double and is shooting 67% from the floor.

Abby Holland
Holland led the Tigers to a 3-0 record to start the season, earning a pair of key regional wins on the road against Pacific Lutheran and Puget Sound. Holland averaged 19.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during the week, hitting 47.5% (19-for-40) from the field and 86.4% (19-for-22) from the free throw line. After starting the season with 13 points and seven rebounds in a blowout win over Concordia, the junior posted a career-high 22 points twice in wins over PLU and UPS.

Olivia Canning
Canning has been dominant through the first three games of the season, averaging a double-double with 14 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. She is shooting an NCAC-best 70 percent (14-of-20) from the floor whiling ranking second in the league in rebounding. She started the season with a 17-point, 10-rebound effort in a 59-45 win over Alma and helped the Yeowomen to a 59-53 comeback win at John Carroll with 17 points and 14 boards, notching 16th and 17th career double-double in the process.  She is shooting 74% from the FT line.

Men's

Jontrell Herman
Herman led JWU to a pair of non-conference victories to get the Wildcats off to their first 2-0 start since the 2004-2005 season. The Mississippi native averaged 32.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists to lead Johnson & Wales to wins over UW-River Falls and Iowa Wesleyan on Friday and Saturday at the Tiger Tip-Off Tournament at Colorado College. Herman knocked down 7-of-12 attempts from the 3-point line (58.3 percent) in the two games while shooting 55.0 percent from the floor.

Keith Brown
Brown averaged 29.8 points in a 4-0 week for the Gulls that included wins over No. 5 nationally ranked MIT and Babson. In the season opener for Endicott against Eastern Nazarene, Brown dropped 49 points. Brown also led the Gulls with 19 points against MIT and contributed 13 versus Suffolk. Meanwhile, against Babson on Sunday, Brown guided Endicott's comeback win over the Beavers as 29 of his 38 points came in the second half. Twenty-one of those points came during a 29-9 run for the Gulls that helped erase an 18-point deficit in the stanza.

Connor Riordan
Riordan opened season with his second-career 30-point game, putting up 35 in an overtime loss to Bethany Lutheran. He was named to the all-tournament team at North Park's tournament after leading Simpson to the title with wins over North Park and Hope. Riordan committed just one turnover in his last three games and extended a streak of consecutive double-figure scoring games to 22.

Brandon Johnson
Johnson averaged 18.3 points and five assists per game in the Plattsburgh State men's basketball 3-0 week to start the season. He recorded a career high of 28 points, had four assists and was 55.6% on the floor in their 105-95 season opening win over Clarkson on Tuesday. On Wednesday Johnson led the Cardinals with 18 points and four assists in their 83-75 home opener victory over Skidmore. Johnson scored nine points and had seven assists in the Cardinals 87-71 win over Canton.

Jake Burgio
Burgio was MVP of the BSG Tip-off Tournament at Nazareth. He scored seven of his team-leading 26 points in overtime to defeat TCNJ in the championship game of the tournament.  Burgio has averaged 27 point and 14 rebounds so far this season, with 64% shooting from the field and 92% from the FT line.
