Women's

Mary Kate O'Day

O'Day averaged 23 points with 11 boards, and five assists in 2-0 week for the Rams while shooting 44.4% (16-36) from the field. She posted back-to-back 20-plus point games starting a with a 24-point effort in a triumph over MCLA and followed that up with a 22-point, 13-rebound double-double in a victory over Fitchburg State. She also had eight assists and four steals against the Falcons.

Andrea Orlosky
Orlosky shined for the Yellow Jackets, who went 2-0 with a pair of double-digit PAC wins this past week against Westminster (93-65) and Chatham (70-59). She posted a pair of double-doubles which allowed her to average 22 points and 13 rebounds for Waynesburg. Orlosky shot 62% from the floor, dished out five assists and swiped three steals over the sweep.

Caitlin Corbett
Corbett had one of the best performances in program history and scored her 1000th career point in separate games, averaging 26 points on 68% shooting, nine rebounds, and four assists over a three-win week. In Tuesday's 89-77 win over Utica, she scored 34 points on 13-of-16 from the field and 7-of-10 from three, and also had a game-high 12 rebounds. Against Nazareth on Friday, she led the team with 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting in a 76-56 victory. She capped the week with a 25-point performance in a 93-50 rout of Sage on Saturday. Overall, she was 11-of-16 from the field, had six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Rebecca Harvey
Harvey averaged 29 points and five rebounds per game to help lead the Eagles to a pair of ODAC victories on the road this past week. Harvey scored 25 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 79-73 win at Randolph-Macon. She added a career-high 33 points in an 82-63 win at Ferrum. In the two games she made 19-of-30 field goal attempts (63%), 8-of-12 3-point tries (67%) and 12-of-13 free throws (92%).

Bryce Frank
Frank led Austin College to a 2-0 record, averaging 26 points and 11 rebounds for her 13th and 14th double-doubles of the season. Frank scored 27 points with 10 boards against Centenary and finished that up with 25 and 12 in a win over Schreiner, while also shooting nearly 68% from the field and better than 82% from the free throw line.

 

Men's

Sam Jefferson
Jefferson averaged 27 points, shot 59% from 3-point range (17-for-29), 55% from the field (23-of-42), 86% from the foul line (19-for-22), and pulled down 5 rebounds in a 3-0 week. Jefferson shot 64% from the field on the way 29 points and 6-of-10 shooting from 3-point range in the win at No. 6 Hamilton. Against No. 19 Amherst, he had 24 points and was 12-of-14 from the foul line. Jefferson started the week with 29 points, 7-of-12 shooting from 3-point range, two blocks, and no turnovers in a tight win over Husson.

Joe Neal
Neal scored 25-plus points in back to back games as the Tornados went 2-0 on the road. Facing a 14-point second half deficit, Neal and CTX rallied to defeat Sul Ross State in overtime, Neal poured in 25 points along with nine rebounds. In a win over Howard Payne, Neal scored 29 points and added nine boards and five assists. Neal now has scored at least 20 points in 14 of the Tornados' 20 games this season.

Sam Toney
Toney averaged 22 points, eight rebounds, and two assists per game while shooting 63% from the field (15-24) and 62% from three-point range. In a 64-62 win at Rutgers-Newark on January 26, he buried a fall-away 15-foot baseline jumper with four seconds left in a tied game to win it. He scored a game-high 24 points, shooting 8-of-13 overall and 6-of-9 from three-point distance with six rebounds. In a 71-58 win over William Paterson he led the way with a game-high 19 points.

Sam Gabbard
Gabbard led the team with 30 points and 12 rebounds in a 73-72 win at Cal Maritime, including the game-winner on a 40-foot buzzer beater. He followed that up with a team leading 24 points and eight rebounds, playing all 40 minutes in a wire-to-wire 81-67 win at Cal Lutheran. The win broke a five-game losing streak at the Slugs' closest rivals and gave UCSC their longest win streak in 35 years. Gabbard currently leads the Banana Slugs in points, rebounds, and assists.

Brendon Manning
Manning averaged 26 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists in two UWL victories last week. He finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds in a 66-65 victory over UW-River Falls, recording his sixth double-double of the season. Manning then had a game-high 28 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in a 82-63 win at UW-Whitewater. For the week, Manning shot 79% (19-of-24) from the field and 93% (13-of-14) from the line.
