The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 20th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women's

Astel averaged 24 points as Stevens went 3-0. After opening her week with a 23-point, 18-rebound performance against Ithaca, Astel closed out her week by scoring a school-record 36 points in a come-from-behind win against St. John Fisher. She shot 26-for-47 (55%) from the field and shot a blistering 90% (18-for-20) from the FT line. 

Brandi Dawson

On the week Dawson averaged 26 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks, shooting 67% from the floor. She hit her first 10 shots from field on the way to a career-high 33 point performance in a loss to No. 7 Hope.

Mikaela Eppard

Eppard averaged 33.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game over a pair of contests last week. On Wednesday, she totaled 27 points and 10 rebounds in just 21 minutes of action in Elmhurst's 90-49 win over Carroll. The double-double was her 11th of the season. Eppard also shot 86.7 percent in the win over Carroll, hitting 13-of-15 shots. On Saturday, Eppard scored a career-high 39 points in Elmhurst's 103-81 win over North Central, the Bluejays' sixth straight victory. Eppard's 39 points is the fourth-highest single-game total in Elmhurst history. She shot 14-of-23 from the floor and a perfect 10-of-10 from the foul line in the win. For the week, she shot 71.1 percent from the floor (27-of-38). 

Kelsea Daugherty

Daugherty averaged 30.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 36.5 minutes per game last week for the 2-0 Bison. She scored a career-high 34 points and added 13 rebounds in Saturday's 76-69 road win at Waynesburg, the program's first over the Yellow Jackets since January 26, 2011. For the week Daugherty shot 59.5 percent (22-of-37) from the floor.

Lisa Murphy

Murphy became the eight women's basketball player in Division III history to score 2,000 points, grab 1,0000 rebounds, and block 200 shots. She reached all three milestones in the team's 93-73 win at home against Emory when she recorded a career-high and UAA record 44 points on 15-of-16 (93.8%) shooting from the floor and 14-of-16 (87.5%) shooting from the free throw line. Her stat line in a 71-62 win against No. 23 Rochester read as 26 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks to give her an average of 35.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks for the week. She made 20-of-24 (83.3%) field goal attempts and 30-of-33 (90.9%) attempts from the line and recorded her ninth and 10th consecutive double-doubles.

Men's

Eric Kittel

Kittel recorded his first career triple-double in the Falcons 100-83 win over Rockford. The senior guard scored 19 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in the NACC road win, while also finishing the game with five steals. Kittel helped the Falcons win at MSOE earlier in the week, scoring 26 points and adding nine assists. For the week he averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 assists per game while turning the ball over just twice. 

Ty Sabin

Sabin led Ripon to a win against No. 7 St. Norbert, ending the Green Knights' Division III-record 72-game conference winning streak. In that game, Sabin scored a game-high 33 points on 14-of-19 shooting, including 22 points in the second half on 9-10 shooting (2-2 from 3-point range). Sabin became just the fifth player in Midwest Conference history to score more than 2,200 career points.

Khory Moore

Moore averaged 28 points per game last week to help the Marlins go 2-0. He set the VWC all-time 3-point record against Shenandoah, currently with 280. He passed TonTon Balenga (276) for the record.

Ryan Ogden

Ogden averaged 24 points in three games, helping SU to a three game win streak in the SCAC to wrap up the first round of games. Shot 62.9% from the field, 66.7% (10-15) from three point range and 78.3% from the free throw line.  He also led the team in rebounds with 8.7 per game.

Kareem Ismail

Ismail led the Scots to a pair of MIAC wins on the road, averaging 22.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.7 blocks per game last week. In a 95-91 double-overtime victory at Gustavus on Saturday, he scored a career-high 34 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the field while making 9-of-11 from the free throw line. Ismail also contributed 14 rebounds, 5 blocks (also a career high) and 4 assists in the win. On Monday, he scored a team-high 17 points and had eight rebounds to lead Macalester past Concordia-Moorhead in Moorhead, 70-65 and end an eight-game MIAC losing streak. Ismail also contributed 17 points, five boards and five assists in a narrow 89-86 defeat to Augsburg. on Wednesday. For the week, Ismail shot 58.5 percent from the field and 73.1 percent from the line while having a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio (11-to-5).
