Men's

Alex Franz
Franz averaged 18.5 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals as St. Mary's (Md.) captured team honors at Hampden-Sydney's tournament. Franz registered a double-double with season-highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds and added seven assists and seven steals before draining the game-winning 3-pointer in the final 12 seconds as the Seahawks posted a 70-69 win over the hosts in the title contest.

Tony Mane
Mane averaged 27.5 points in two games at Mary Hardin-Baylor's tournament Dec. 29-30. He had 20 points, four rebounds and one block in the Eagles' 75-56 win over Hardin-Simmons on Dec. 29 and a season-high 35 points in a 86-78 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Nicholas Motta
Motta averaged 28 points and 7.5 rebounds at Moravian's tournament, shooting 54% (20-for-37) from the field and 83% (10-for-12) from the free-throw line.

Mark Alexander
Alexander averaged 27 points and 5.5 rebounds in a pair of games at Salem State's tournament Dec. 29-30. In an 86-81 win over the host school, Alexander pumped in a game-high 23 points and hauled in seven rebounds in 35 minutes. Then in a 72-71 loss to Becker, Alexander netted a career-best 31 points on 10-for-16 shooting, while collecting four rebounds and two steals.

Tyler Sanborn
Sanborn averaged 21.5 points, 13.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in Guilford victories over Ohio Wesleyan and Mariettta while extending his streak to six consecutive double-doubles. He scored 22 points, grabbed 15 boards and blocked a season-high four shots in a 79-72 win vs. Ohio Wesleyan, then came back the following night with 21 points and 11 boards in an 82-60 win against Marietta.

Women's

Gabby Allen
Allen averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game last week vs. two WIAC opponents. Allen, who shot 52 percent from the field for the week, had 15 points, five rebounds, three steals and a game-high seven assists vs. UW-La Crosse. The next night she had 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, a team-high seven rebounds, two assists and a block against UW-Superior.

Melissa Beyruti
Beyruti was named a tournament MVP and to another all-tournament team in a 4-0 week for the Cougars. On Sunday against Lycoming, Beyruti broke the Kean single-game record for three-pointers with 10. Beyruti recorded 24 3-pointers this week, bringing her career total to 354. This week she shot 60 percent from behind the arc while averaging 20.5 points per game.

Chelsie Schweers
Schweers led CNU to a 78-67 win against then-No. 24 Randolph-Macon with 26 points and tied a career high with eight steals. She then helped the Captains defeat 5-2 Salisbury with a career-high 36 points in just 28 minutes of an 86-72 victory. She had 22 points in the first half as CNU took a 50-24 halftime lead.

Kathryn Stockbower
Named MVP of Catholic's tournament, including scoring 23 points and pulling down a season-high 20 rebounds in championship win against Catholic. She scored 26 points in a 79-39 win over York (N.Y.) and shot 69 percent from the field for the tournament.

Hannah Munger
Munger averaged a double-double (15.0 points, 11.5 rebounds) as the Bruins went 2-0 and improved to 8-2. She had double-doubles in both games, with 18 points and 10 rebounds at Division II Western Oregon to go with 12 points and 13 rebounds vs. Puget Sound. Munger scored the game-winning basket with 19 seconds left in 65-62 overtime win against Puget Sound.
