Women's

Kristen Richardson
Richardson helped Capital win its OAC-record 12th regular season conference championship with 25 points on 11-for-24 shooting in a 66-64 win against Mount Union. Fifteen of the points came after halftime to help the Crusaders rally from a double-digit deficit. She also had four rebounds, four steals, two assists and one blocked shot as well as a successful defense of a shot in the final second to preserve the win. On Wednesday, Richardson tallied 18 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and one blocked shot at Wilmington.

Brittany Zamora
Zamora led the Lady Jackets in scoring in the wins over Concordia-Texas and Mary Hardin-Baylor. Against UMHB she had 26 points with no turnovers. She was 6-for-10 from the three-point line for the week and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line, averaging 22.0 points and 2.5 steals.

Caitlyn Laflin
Laflin led the Beavers to a 2-0 week with 18 points and 19 rebounds (11 points, 17 boards in the first half) vs. Johnson State and 23 points and 13 rebounds vs. Lyndon State. She added nine assists in the two games and turned the ball over just four times.

Kirsty Stearns
Stearns averaged a double-double at 12.0 points and 10.3 rebounds in a 3-0 week. Stearns began the week with 14 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots in a 71-58 win at Goucher. She then had ten points, ten rebounds, three assists and three steals in an 82-63 victory at Catholic, and finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds and six blocked shots in a 77-60 win over No. 13 Scranton. For the week, Stearns was 16-for-27 from the floor (59.3 percent) and a perfect 4-for-4 at the foul line. She averaged just under 25 minutes per game and finished the week with 12 blocked shots, eight steals and five assists while committing just six fouls and six turnovers.

Carissa Verkaik
Verkaik scored a Calvin and MIAA single-game record 46 points in a 93-77 win over Adrian on Feb. 17, going 18-of-20 from the field, 3-of-3 from three-point range and 7-of-8 at the free throw line. She followed with an 18-point game in a 65-62 win at Alma on Feb. 20.

Men's

John Hoch
Carroll defeated Ripon (87-80) and No. 14 St. Norbert (77-68) to earn a berth in the MWC Tournament behind 27.0 points and 5.5 assists from Hoch. He shot 17-for-26 from the field, 5-for-7 from three-point range and 15-for-17 from the line.

Zac Shaeffer
Shaeffer scored a career-best 44 points in Tuesday's 111-110 double-overtime win against Alvernia, then led yet again with 20 points in a 77-66 loss to Messiah. At the line he shot a season best 91.3% having missed only twice on his 23 opportunities. He was 18-for-28 from the floor, 7-for-14 fromt three-point range.

Nick Sales
Sales shot 70.8 percent from the floor (17-for-24), while averaging 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals, 2.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in victories against Bluffton and Franklin. The two wins sealed the No. 3 seed for the Jackets in the HCAC tournament. Sales logged his 25th career double-double and led all players with 25 points and 11 boards in a 70-60 win against Bluffton on Senior Night, then added 16 points, five rebounds and six steals in a 73-60 win at Franklin on Saturday.

Spencer Gay
Gay averaged 20 points, six rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game while shooting 73.9 percent from the field in two two home victories. Gay was 17-of-23 from the field and 6-of-7 from the foul line. He scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down six rebounds and had three blocks in a 65-62 victory against Case Western Reserve on Friday. Gay followed that up with a career-high 22 points, six boards and two blocked shots in a 95-58 win over Carnegie Mellon on Sunday.

Juan Paulino
Paulino led the Express to a 2-0 week averaging 30.5 ppg and 25 rpg, while shooting 70.3 percent from the floor. Paulino scored a career high 36 points, while single handedly out rebounding Penn State-Harrisburg 27 to 20, in an 82-70 victory. Paulino also registered 25 points and 23 rebounds in a 100-75 one sided victory over Cazenovia. It was the 14th straight double-double and 21st overall on the season for Paulino.
