SALEM, Va.- For the second straight season, the Randolph women’s basketball team played an ODAC Quarterfinal game at the Salem Civic Center as the WildCats faced Guilford on Thursday afternoon. Randolph took a lead in the third quarter and held on in the end as they won by the score of 65-59.
FOREST, Va.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its All-Conference Team for Women’s Basketball on Wednesday morning. Junior Kylie Stark (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) was named to the First Team and sophomore Teniyah Crenshaw-Patterson (Newport News, Va./Heritage) was selected to the Third Team.
LYNCHBURG, Va.- It was Senior Day for the Randolph women’s basketball team as the WildCats hosted Eastern Mennonite on Saturday in their regular season home finale. The WildCats defeated the Royals 79-59.
BRIDGEWATER, VA.- Looking to exact some revenge for their loss to the Eagles in November, the Randolph women’s basketball traveled to Bridgewater on Wednesday to face BC again. Bridgewater got out to 20-point lead late in the third while the WildCats came roaring back to get to within a point but a last second shot fell short at the buzzer as the Eagles walked away with a 62-61 victory.
LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women’s basketball looked to make history as it hosted Ferrum on Saturday afternoon at Giles Gymnasium. The game was close in the end but the WildCats held off the Panthers for a 49-42 victory.

FERRUM, Va.- The Randolph women’s basketball team returned to the hardwood for the first time in 2023 as they traveled to Ferrum on Wednesday. The WildCats trailed after the first quarter but recovered as they went on to win 71-49.
DAYTONA BEACH, FLA.- The Randolph women’s basketball team wrapped up its time in Florida on Thursday as they took on Maryville at the Daytona Beach Shootout. Despite poor shooting in the second half, Kylie Stark’s (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) three-point basket with under four seconds remaining was the difference maker as Randolph won 45-44.
DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. –The Randolph women’s basketball team played the first of two games during their stay in Florida at the Daytona Beach Shootout on Tuesday. The WildCats controlled the game from the beginning as they defeated Stevenson 64-44.

Lynchburg. Va- The Randolph women's basketball team took on Randolph-Macon on Wednesday night in a matchup of the preseason #1 and #2 teams in the ODAC.. Despite having the lead for the majority of the game, the Yellow Jackets were able to keep it close in the second half but In the end, the Wildcats were able to outlast R-MC 50-43.
Lynchburg. Va- In a midday ODAC meeting, the Randolph Women’s Basketball team faced off against the Guilford Quakers. The Wildcats used a big second half to pull away from the Quakers, winning 78-42. The win, Randolph’s fourth in a row, gives the WildCats an overall record of 6-2 and 3-1 in the ODAC.
LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women’s basketball team made the short trip across town to the University of Lynchburg for a midweek ODAC tilt. The WildCats made some history on the night as they defeated the Hornets 56-49.
WINCHESTER, VA.- The Randolph women’s basketball team returned from its Thanksgiving break on Sunday as it took on defending ODAC champion Shenandoah. Both teams were locked in a defensive battle all game long as Randolph made four consecutive free throws in the final seconds to come away with a 50-46 victory.

WINSTON-SALEM. N.C.- The Randolph women’s basketball team embarked on its first road trip of the young season on Saturday as they travelled to the campus of Salem College. The WildCats continued their strong start to the year as they defeated the Spirit 82-57 to move to 2-0.
Christopher Newport ran through the regular season and into two of the top honors on our All-Region 6 team. Sondra Fan is Player of the Year and Bill Broderick Coach of the Year, while Teniya Crenshaw-Patterson of Randolph College is our Rookie of the Year.

The WildCats hosted Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. The ‘Cats did not show any rust from their extended layoff as they defeated the Marlins 84-49.
LYNCHBURG, Va.- It was a night of firsts for the Randolph women’s basketball team as they hosted first place in the ODAC Washington and Lee on Wednesday night at Giles Gymnasium. The WildCats hung with the Generals all game long and were able to come out with a big 70-63 victory. The WildCat win is the first over the Generals since the 2016-2017 season and ends a seven-game winless streak to W&L.
HARRISONBURG, Va.- The Randolph women’s basketball team faced Eastern Mennonite for the second time this season at the Royals’ Yoder Arena on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats battled back from an earlier deficit to come out with 58-54 victory.
ROANOKE, Va.- The Randolph women’s basketball team traveled to Hollins on Wednesday evening. Both teams kept pace with each other but it was the WildCats who came out victorious in the end as they defeated HU 49-44.
